Pool Filter Cleaning Dunedin, FlPool filters exist to remove particles, "contaminants," debris, minerals, and other material from the pool water.
Most of the stuff that you can see when you clean out a pull filter are larger physical debris like leaves, sticks, hair, insects, the occasional frog, and more. Cleaning out a pool filter from physical debris isn't really a big chore. It's fairly straightforward. That is included in our pool filter cleaning. We understand that not all pool owners have the time to get in there every now and then to clean out the filter of the pool. The next level of filter cleaning is one that definitely requires some expertise in the field of pool care. The pool filter cleaning involves soaking the filter in a solution of strong chemicals to break down the buildup of minerals, TDS, sunblock, and other micro-particles that have gotten stuck within the inner workings of the filter. Having a dirty filter isn't an issue at all. In fact a filter that is dirty is a filter that has done its job! It's all a part of the pool filter process and you just have to trust it. In order to restore a dirty filter to working, functional order again, so that it can keep on filtering micro-particles, we need to give it a deep soak in a cleaning solution. This breaks down the residue that has built up within the filter on a chemical level. Once the chemicals have set for a little bit, we agitate the filter using mechanical cleaning techniques like brushes, pressured hoses, and give it a very thorough rinse. All chemicals that are added to the filter for the filter cleaning are neutralized and nothing harmful whatsoever returns to the pool. The whole point of a pool filter is essentially to make sure that the swimming pool water is safe, balanced, and in a condition that is appropriate for you and your family to swim in on a regular basis. Without that one little filter, you essentially don't have a good pool to be swimming in, so it's imperative that the filter stays in a working condition. Again, it's not necessarily a bad thing to have a dirty filter, that just means it's functioning. The issue is when it becomes so filled with material that it can't filter any more. Then, it's time to change it out! If you are interested in working with us for a deep filter cleaning, please, feel free to reach out to us to see what are rates are for the job.
